Building Successful Relationships One Handshake At A Time (Seminar/Workshop)
This quarterly seminar is an extension of the speaker series and will focus on the practices of  meeting/ interaction etiquette , building relationships and keeping connections.  The fundamental basis for the speaker series is carried out in further detail and expanded activities geared to inspire our target market to become more involved in their own personal growth. The seminars will be lead by skilled communications professionals. There will be relationship and team building exercises, as well as distributing of materials for use in everyday business and personal practices.  A set curriculum is currently in development and will be completed by the end of the year.

Throughout the speaker series and workshops the participating youth will set goals and achieve personal milestones. We measure our success in a variety ways. We profile our youth participants to obtain their vision, establish where they are at currently and what goals they have set for themselves. At this time we provide them projects that they can work on immediately to begin the path to achieving individual and group goals. Something as simple is getting a part time job or internship is a milestone of success to some of the youth. Teaching skills or providing the support needed to feel comfortable filling out an application, being interviewed, or making a new contact is very often the first step to the success they hope to obtain.
