Vice Chairman - Jerry Means:
Prior to JMB, Mr. Means was Director of Marketing & Promotions of ZA Records, an independent record company who acquired distribution by Universal Music Group. During his two year tenure, ZA Records techno artist emerged as a prominent figure in the music industry scene internationally. At the forefront of their explosive growth, Mr. Means's accomplishments included a $1.5 million dollar production & distribution deal, a music licensing deal with a major music television network, the creation of a $100,000 licensing business and the recognition as one of the most admired brands in the U.K. Before ZA Records, Mr. Means was Chief Operations Officer of print and media company, U Create It Designs, where under his leadership company revenues sailed from $54,781 in 1998 to $228,500 in 1999 via strategic marketing & advertising programs he helped orchestrate. He later tripled profits by negotiating a major acquisition of an account with a major rental car agency and with the XXV Super Bowl Task Force. Mr. Means attended University of North Florida, receiving a B.S. in Marketing where he served as President of the Student Government and later graduated from Stetson School of Law receiving a Jurist Doctorate. |

Board Member - Jacob Jackson:
Mr. Jackson was sworn in as a member of the North Broward Hospital District Board of Commissioners on November 16, 2005 and concluded his term on July 1, 2007. A member of the Florida Bar, he worked as an Assistant State Attorney for Orange County, a corporate attorney for Darden Restaurants, Inc., a real estate attorney with Altman, Kritzer & Levick in Atlanta and an associate attorney for Bristol West Insurance Company. Mr. Jackson also had his own practice in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Currently, Mr. Jackson is the Regional Legal Counsel for the Southeast Region (Broward and Palm Beach Counties) for the State of Florida Department of Children and Families. He is also a former member of the board of the Mount Olive Development Corporation and Onyx Treatment Group. |

ConnXions was created by DJ Ekin who touts the motto "Someone gave me a chance, it's time for me to give others one" and believes in inspiring youth to see that they are important, they can set and achieve goals, and that they hold the power to make a difference and it all starts with building relationships one handshake at a time.
